Barry recently retired from corporate life and returned to his first love of acting.
His journey began with the Bearspaw Dinner theatre playing Johnny Canuck in “The Adventures of Johnny Canuck”. More theatre work, movies, print and TV commercials followed, with a highlight of being cast in the Hollywood movie “Rat Race” with John Cleese. With another play on the agenda, a pilot completed and ongoing involvement in Calgary’s busy movie industry he is excited for another busy year.
One of Barry’s great joys is being a husband, dad, and grandfather, so playing father really resonated, and the kind nature of the Doctor is also a pleasure to play.
He is grateful to collaborate with the talented cast and production team of the Railway Children.
Barry is an avid runner and plays drums in a country band.
He thanks his wife, Max for all of her support and patience. She is his everything.
